All About Us
Discover more about our story, who we are and what we do
We are funded by the Department for Education to encourage parents to become actively involved in participation and co-production of local services for children and young people with SEND (Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities)
Our Story
Our Aim

Our aim is to ensure the needs of all children and young people with SEND (Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities) are met.

Our Vision

Our vision is that all children, young people and their families living with disabilities/additional needs in our city enjoy the same opportunities, hopes and aspirations as other families in education, health, social care and leisure.

Parents/carers often come to us at their most vulnerable and with no one to turn to and Doncaster Parents Voice offers support, information, advocacy, advice and peer support for families with similar issues.

We encourage parents to become actively involved with Doncaster Parents Voice activities, advocacy and participate in co-production of local services with partner organisations.

We bring together parent/carers from across the borough to provide mutual support, share experience, exchange information, and influence policy.
